Adesso, a leading global IT service provider, has expanded its presence in India by opening a new delivery center in Kochi, Kerala. This is Adesso’s second office in India, following its earlier acquisition of an Indian software company earlier this year. The new center aims to support Adesso’s growing global customer base and strengthen its digital transformation services.
The company plans to hire over 600 professionals over the next three years to work from the Kochi center. The office will focus on delivering innovative digital solutions in sectors like financial services, automotive, retail, manufacturing, energy, and utilities. Key services include digital platforms, cloud solutions, data analytics, and managed IT services.
Why Kochi?
Adesso chose Kochi because of its thriving IT ecosystem and skilled workforce. The move is part of Adesso’s “SmartShore” strategy, which involves leveraging global teams to provide scalable software development and reduce operational risks for clients.
Torsten Wegener, a member of Adesso SE’s Executive Board, officially inaugurated the Kochi office. He highlighted the city’s talent pool and strategic importance in helping Adesso deliver faster and more reliable results to customers worldwide.
“This new office is a key milestone in our growth journey. Kochi’s vibrant tech environment makes it the perfect place to expand,” said Wegener.
Driving Growth in India
Pramod Muralidharan, Managing Director of Adesso India, explained that the Kochi office would serve as a hub for innovation and collaboration. “This office will help us grow in India and lead our clients’ technology and transformation projects globally,” he said.
As a gesture of sustainability, Torsten Wegener and Adesso India’s leadership team planted a Jabuticaba tree at the Kochi location during the inauguration ceremony.
Adesso’s expansion into Kochi reinforces its commitment to delivering cutting-edge IT solutions while creating job opportunities in India.
